Buy Mega Bloks Western Sets

The Mega Bloks Western Range was a small group of Mega Bloks Sets released in 1996. These sets were all based around a Western Frontier Town theme, featuring Cowboys and Saloons etc.

Mega Bloks is a Canadian Toy company that produces building blocks that are exactly similar to Lego they hold many licensing agreements to produce related items plus other sets. These sets are similar in design and size to Lego sets and make a good alternative to Lego sets for Christmas and Birthday presents particularly since many of the franchise lines are exclusive to Mega Bloks.

As these sets are now quite old and rare they are very rarely available in the shops although they do occasionally come up on Ebay at very reasonable prices.

The Cactus Town set was released in 1996 and features part of Cactus Town including the Bank, The Saloon and the Jail, also included are 3 minifigures of two Cowboys and the Saloon Owner. This set contains 300 pieces.

Cactus Town is the main town in the Western Series and allows you to build your own Frontier Town with changeable roofs and floor plates, the set includes 3 minifigures and 2 horses with moving parts and saddles. Also included are a Cactus, Lanterns as well as all the bricks you need to make a Jail, a Saloon and a Bank with a safe. YeeHaw.

The Trading Post set was released in 1996 and features another part of Cactus Town including the Trading Post, a General Store and a Stagecoach, also included are 3 minifigures of two Cowboys and an Old Lady Shopkeeper. This set contains 250 pieces.

Cactus Town is the main town in the Western Series and allows you to build your own Frontier Town with changeable roofs and floor plates. The Trading Post can be made up as either 2 separate stores or as one two-storey Store. This set includes 3 minifigures and a horse with moving parts and saddle and of course a fully working Stagecoach

The Outlaw's Cabin set was released in 1996 and features the Outlaw's Cabin just outside Cactus Town, also included is a minifigure of an Outlaw and his horse. This set contains 150 pieces.

The Outlaws Cabin lies just outside Cactus Town and has a well, loads of cacti and a Vulture who has made it his home. It has a Skull hanging over the door jamb and a welcoming Keep Out sign outside the front door. This set includes a minifigure of an Outlaw and his horse with moving parts and saddle.

The Cactus Railway set was released in 1996 and features the Steam Locomotive that runs on Cactus Railways, plus the Station building. Also included in this set were 2 minifigures of an Outlaw and the Train Driver. This set contains 150 pieces.

The Cactus Railway Station is a two storey building complete with balcony and flagpole. This set also includes the steam train that runs on the Railway with all moving parts along with the Driver. There is also an Outlaw ready to rob the train with his horse with moving parts and saddle.
